so I wrote her a letter and I got it back sealed, said return to sender, so I wrote her poem and I slipped it under her door myself, no sleeve!
and she got back to me with a poem of her own
So I put all the words that we wrote to the first melody that came to me, that came to me
I put that to tape and I raced it along to the radio station I know that she listened to, that's when she came round, that's when she came round, words and music won my baby back
